Creating a Life of Joy While Waiting on God’s Promises – Taught by Kim Spencer

Together we’ll explore why this season of life is not wasted and how to stay spiritually grounded even when life looks different than expected. This course is designed to empower individuals to find joy, peace, and purpose in the present, not just in some far-off future when life finally meets their expectations. By embracing these teachings, participants will learn to appreciate their journey and live fully, regardless of what they are waiting for.

The Divinely Inspired Constitution – Taught by Victor Hansen, esq.
A unique tenant of our religion is the belief that government and church should remain separate and democracy is the superior form of governance. As reiterated in the Book of Mormon, our belief in the Constitution as a divinely inspired document shapes our relationship to God, our religious community, and our community at large. This class will discuss the unique blessings that come from our Constitution and how we can ensure our Democracy continues well into the future.

Additional information about our Speakers:

Dr. Sandra Howard
Dr. Sandra Howard is a Stake Single Adult Representative for the Worcester, MA Stake and a longtime member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She is a retired Internal Medicine physician with over three decades of experience walking with others through the medical realities of aging and end-of-life care. But it wasn’t until she was asked to serve as executor for a close friend’s estate that she encountered the overwhelming legal, financial, and emotional complexities of probate.
Navigating the courts during the height of Covid — while grieving and learning on the fly — Sandra quickly discovered that even with her education and life experience, she was unprepared for what lay ahead. She sought guidance from an estate planning expert and took detailed notes, ultimately balancing each report “to the penny.” Through this difficult and enlightening experience, she felt called to share what she learned to help others avoid the stress, confusion, and delays that can come with a lack of preparation.
As a Stake Single Adult Representative for the past four years, Sandra is passionate about ensuring that single members 36 and older have a voice in church life, opportunities for spiritual growth, and a sense of community connection. Her presentation, Money Matters: End-of-Life Decisions, is grounded in real-life experience and offers practical insights and faith-driven encouragement to help you take empowered, proactive steps now — for your peace of mind and for those you love.
